The product is native to Myanmar Burma. Teak wood is preferred because of its oily waxy structure, high resistance to decay, deterioration and diseases. It is especially more resistant to insects. It cannot be easily destroyed by insects and microorganisms. It provides long years of trouble-free use outdoors without the need for baking.
It is available in two different mounting types, with clips or armours. It is primarily preferred for poolside, facade coatings, garden furniture and ship deck construction, as it is resistant to water, humidity and all kinds of climatic conditions.

APPEARANCE :
The heartwood is dark golden brown, dark golden yellow and chocolate brown, while the bark is white pale yellow. Sometimes the outer wood of teak is gray, the inner wood is yellowish light brown. The inner wood darkens by itself in the open air, becoming dark brown.
Teak sometimes has wavy veins, the texture is smooth in the unprocessed state and has a naturally oily, slippery glossy surface. Teak is a shining wood. Its color automatically turns dark brown in the open air. The core is woody. The outer wood is narrow. The pores in the spring texture are large and in the form of a single row of circles. The pores in the autumn tissue are medium in size and in a scattered pattern. The pores on the section surfaces are large and definite. Self rays are visible. It has an oily texture. Its veins usually consist of stripes of the same color.
It is hard and tight. It is a flexible tree. It splits easily. It has good resistance to physical effects such as hitting, crushing and friction. The processed surface gives a clean appearance. It quickly dulls the cutting edges of the tools. Good for turning. It pulls a little. It humps quickly. It pushes water. Dust from processing is harmful to health. It is not painted well, it is difficult to varnish. It is useful to apply teak oil.
