A classic tree. Indispensable raw material of rustic furniture and decoration.
Oak is a hardwood species found in most of the forests in our country. Oak color is usually dirty yellow and light brown. It has sap rays in stripes and is one of the trees where the core rays appear most prominently. The core wood is dark yellow, the outer wood is yellowish off-white. Oak can be hard or softer depending on where it grows. Sparse and thick-ringed oaks are hard, while tight and narrow-ringed oaks are softer. Oak timber is generally underworked, splits easily and is difficult to work with, but especially soft oak is easy to work with. It is a timber that is highly resistant to the effects of weather and moisture. Thanks to its toner structure, it is one of the trees that best shows the applied paint. It is well varnished.
It is a classic wood that has been preferred since ancient times, thanks to its durable structure and decorative feature of its auras. It is the indispensable raw material of rustic furniture and decoration. Thick and sparsely ringed hard oak timber is used in exterior and interior parts of structures, doors, windows, stairs, flooring, and parquet construction. Hard oak timber gives positive results in tool handles, stair legs, handrails, barrels, wagons, cars, ships, boats, bridges and pier legs. Solid and veneer of soft type oak is a sought-after material in furniture production, interior parts of buildings and decoration applications.
