Fir Timber

Although the fir tree is from the coniferous family close to white in color, it is a tree without resin. It is quite similar to the spruce tree in terms of both color and features. The most important distinction between the two trees is that the fir tree is not dense and has a softer structure. Thanks to its soft texture, lightness and fibrous structure, it is successful in nailing and screwing. It is a tree that can be split easily, is successful in bonding, and has good processing properties of all kinds. It gives good results in polishing and painting works.

Fir timber is mostly used in carpentry, joinery, furniture, door manufacturing works. Thanks to its fibrous structure, which is its most important feature, it is one of the most preferred timbers in the production of aged furniture.
