Timber is very similar to oak. The belly is woody. The outer wood is narrow, the inner wood is wide. The circle is porous.

The core rays are invisible, which is the most important feature that distinguishes it from oak.

The outer wood is dirty yellow, sometimes white or gray. The inner wood is yellow brown.

It is made of hard, tight, flexible. It is easily bent due to its long thread. It just works. It is easy to handle.

It is resistant to the destructive effect of air. It paints very well. It is well varnished.

It has exceptional endurance under water. Nails or glue bond well.

It is used outside the buildings, in joinery, bridge and pier legs.

It is used as solid and veneer in furniture production. It is a sought-after wood, especially in bending furniture.
