Solid parquet, with its natural appearance, is one of the floor coverings that are frequently used especially in luxury spaces and workplaces.

Solid hardwood is a type of wood flooring. Its production is carried out naturally and its chemical structure is intact. Since it is a natural material, it meets the expectations of customers who want to have a classic and natural-looking floor covering.

It is generally applied on concrete floor. Laying time is longer than laminate and laminate flooring. It is extremely successful in providing heat and sound insulation and has a very long life. Solid parquet is more permanent than other parquet types.

Solid parquet is produced by cutting well-dried wood into thin layers and strips with a thickness of 16-20 mm. Qualified labor is needed when laying solid parquet. Only experts who are familiar with the qualities of the parquet can do this, because the laying of solid parquet is an extremely sensitive process that does not remove errors.

Solid parquet consists of rectangular prism or lath-shaped pieces that are longer than their width.

It takes about 1 day to lay solid parquet on the floor of a medium-sized apartment. However, the process does not end here. It is necessary to wait at least 5-6 days for the glue to harden. Scraping and polishing processes are carried out for the next 3-4 days.

NOTE: Humidity of the Solid Parquet application area (Screed) should be between 15-18°C. Otherwise, the applied parquet may swell and rotate. There should be absolutely no moisture or rain leaks anywhere. If you feel such a risk, a moisture barrier should be laid on the screed and 4mm plywood should be adhered with double component glue on it, and then parquet should be applied.
