Siberian Pine Timber

Siberian pine is a yellow pine tree imported from the Siberia region of Russia, the region where it is named. Its timber is yellowish, moire and soft textured. The knot rate is very low and the existing knots are mostly small spring knots, that is, knots that do not fall. Although it is a soft wood, it is durable, thanks to its soft texture, it can be easily processed, well glued, polished, nailed and screwed. In this way, it is one of the preferred trees in the furniture industry.

Problems such as bending, warping, irrigation and rot are not common in Siberian pine, it is also long-lived, but there may be few cracks. It is both decorative with few knots and durable. Thanks to these features, it is frequently used in wooden structures such as interior and exterior joinery, paneling, flooring, urban furniture, bungalows, camellias, pergolas and restorations.
