Akaju is a hardwood species that grows in the central and western regions of Africa. Also known as African Mohogany. Its color changes with exposure to light, becoming pinkish red and brown. Acaju is a wood that can be polished well and is suitable for cutting and gluing. It is used for outer hull and structural purposes in the yacht and boat industry. It is one of the preferred trees in musical instruments. In interior and exterior decoration; It can be used in furniture, door parquet and carcass production.
